My name is Nurse [DATA REDACTED]. They brought a lone, unconscious man into the lab. The Doctor thinks I’m just administering the sedatives and monitoring the patient’s heart rate. She has no idea I’m recording the neural telemetry feeds onto this ghost domain.
The public believes our corporation (The Syndicate) is developing clean energy solutions to prevent what some would consider World War III. They are lying. We used experimental equipment to run high-voltage currents through an unknown Energy Sphere connected to that man’s brain stem (entity X). We didn’t create energy. We violently fractured the localized light frequency of our own sun and exposed a terrifying parallel realm that humanity was never meant to see.
We cannot physically cross the threshold into this realm yet. The Doctor is frantically trying to force a way in. But when Patient 0013 falls into deep sleep, his neural pathways become a lens, projecting the topography of this alien nightmare straight onto our laboratory monitors like bleeding land masses based on the neural spikes of his subconscious. The most terrifying data streams aren’t the landscapes; they are the shapes moving through them. Legends say that the Tabula Forest is where the centre of the realms were created. A mystic species nurtured their surroundings, slowly turning it into a wonderful forest, full of vibrance and magical creatures.
But every light causes a shadow. And the Tabula forest created the darkest shadow of them all.
For every wonder that was born from the forest, a dark essence usually followed. A constant battle of day and night that still plagues the forest to this day, making the forest a dismal place that has been slowly drained of life and left to die.

The ancient summits rising through the treetops have endured some of the realms darkest times. The hollowed peaks have also become a vantage point for those tasked to watch over the surrounding woodlands and its inhabitants.
At the furthest cliff edge, hanging over the shadowed waters of the Bolus Cove, the Deasura Spires are a place of protection for one of the realms most powerful apex organisms. The Evergreen Dammara!

GOBALUS BURROWS
The burrows are the rotted veins connected to the heart of the Tabula forest. Sucking life from its core and spreading it down into the dark holes that lead to the Parabyss.
Although the dangers within the burrows are enough to make most wanderers turn away. The cave system itself is connected to all places within the realms, making it a fast way to travel for those who can navigate the shadows.
But It is very easy to get lost in the dark tunnels. As the somber maze twists and turns without warning, you are most likely to be found by a scavenging Imp or a stray soul lost between realms and looking for a body to steal and inhabit.
